1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for professional engineering services in connection with Hidalgo County Urban County Program from Program Year 20 (2007) for a Street Improvements (Solar Light) Project in the Hidalgo County Precinct #1 area.
2. Presentation of the scoring grid (of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County's approved "pool" as graded and evaluated by Precinct No. 1, Urban County Program and Hidalgo County Purchasing Department for the purpose of ranking by CC in connection with an Urban County Program Street Improvements (Solar Light) Project in the Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 area.
3. Authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of _____________________ for the provision of engineering services for a Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 Street Improvements (Solar Light) project.

Hidalgo County Precinct #1, Urban County Program and the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department have evaluated and graded five engineering firms from the County's approved "pool".  Javier Hinojosa Engineers, Inc. Rodriguez Engineering, DOS Logistics, KK Engineering Consultants, and TEDSI Infrastructure were the five firms. The Street Improvements (Solar Light) Project includes the purchase and installation of solar lighting for several Colonias located in the Precinct #1 area.
