CAPTION
Presentation of options in connection with disposition of county surplus through auction, including, but not limited to, the following:
A. Exercise the County's current option to extend for an additional sixty (60) days with Abrego Towing & Storage, LLC for contract #s C-07-069 & C-07-370 so as to have no lapse in service and thus permit the development and drafting of modifications of the current specifications, requirements, terms and conditions with the user departments to address numberous concerns which will be in the best interest of Hidalgo County's surplus and/or confiscated property auction program;
B. Requesting authority to advertise sealed bids with concurrence and approval of final procurement packet (i.e. specifications and draft contract document-approved by legal counsel) by the user departments for: "Auctioneer Services-Hidalgo County" on an "as needed basis". (Bid No. 2008-370);
C. Authority to initiate an on-line web based surplus and confiscated property auction program on an "as needed basis" with an awarded vendor through the County's membership/participation with a cooperative purchasing program as an additional dispostion of surplus and/or confiscated property.
