Authorization and approval to accept the Interlocal Agreement between the Hidalgo County HIDTA Task Force and the McAllen Independent School District Police Department as set forth under Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 59.
BACKGROUND
As set forth under the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 59 Article 59.06(b) Disposition of Forfeited Property "If a local agreement exists between the attorney representing the state and law enforcement agencies, the attorney representing the state may transfer property to law enforcement agencies to maintain, repair, use, and operate the property for offficial purposes if the property is free of any interest of an interest holder."
