The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract with J.E. Saenz & Associates in the amount of $ 24,748.30 utilizing Year 18 (2005) funds for a Water/Sewer Improvement Project (Main Lift Station Imp. Phase II) within the City of Elsa.

BACKGROUND

The City of Elsa requested authorization to negotiate a contract with J.E. Saenz & Associates for the Main Lift Station Improvements Phase II.  A best and final offer was submitted by J.E. Saenz in the amount of $24,748.30.  City of Elsa approved recommendation to Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court.  The improvements will allow for the Sewer Plant to become operational to meet TCEQ requirements.  See attached scope of services.

Funds Available:                        $ 316,400.94 ( 2005- FY 18)
