1.  Discussion, consideration, and approval to waive internal/external employment posting procedures, Sections 6.07 - 6.12 of the Hidalgo County Personnel Policy Manual, for the new drainage improvement project positions declared sensitive by Commissioners Court and excluded from Civil Service coverage by the Commission on October 31, 2008.
2.  Discussion, consideration, and approval to  present to the Civil Service Commission at their next scheduled meeting a request on behalf of Hidalgo County Commissioners Court to amend Commission rules as follows: Each Elected Official and Appointed Official under the Texas Constitution may declare two (2) key positions, and each County Commissioner may declare five (5) key positions as sensitive and excluded from Civil Service coverage.
