The City of Alton is requesting authorization to cancel the purchase order with Ferrera Fire Apparatus, Inc. in the amount of $9,249.00 for the purchase of fire protective equipment and gear for the City of Alton Fire Department.  Urban County Program Year 19 (2006) Fire Station/Equipment funds were utilized.

BACKGROUND

The City of Alton has requested to cancel this purchase order. A copy of the memo is attached for reference. (Hidalgo County Commissioners’ Court approved to issue the purchase order on March 8, 2007.)
