The Urban County Program requests approval of Change Order No.1 on construction contract with Joe Williamson Construction Company, Inc. to increase contract in the amount of $27,546.00, utilizing City of Alamo general funds.

BACKGROUND

The Urban County Program requests approval of Change Order No. 1 as presented by the City of Alamo to the existing contract in the amount of $787,000.00 for the construction of a new fire station. Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court approved the contract on June 10, 2008. The city of Alamo has requested additional work to be performed by the contractor to equal an increase of $27,546.00 for the removal of existing asphalt and resurface at the south side of the existing Police Department building adjacent to the Fire Department.

Approved Contract Amount:                      $ 787,000.00
