Urban County Program for the City of Peñitas is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a Construction Contract with Gonzalez Brothers Construction for the Park Improvements at Veterans Memorial Park in the City of Peñitas in the amount of $197,000.00 utilizing UCP Year 17 (2004), Year 20 (2007) and Year 21 (2008) Urban County Program parks, recreational facilities funds.
BACKGROUND
Bid opening was held January 21, 2009 and the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Gonzalez Brothers Construction. The project involves Park Improvements at Veterans Memorial Park in the City of Peñitas. See attached recommendation by the project engineer. (Project Engineer: Alcocer Garcia Associates Design Consulting (AGADC))
