The Urban County Program requests approval to cancel the Subrecipient Agreement with the Boys & Girls Club of Mission (Youth Services) in the amount of $16,172.35 for Urban County Program Year 21 (2008).

BACKGROUND

The Boys & Girls Club of Mission has become a department of the City of Mission and will no longer be able to continue to meet guidelines as set forth by the Urban County Program.  Therefore, a request to cancel the subrecipient agreement is being recommended.  The Boys & Girls Club of Mission receives funding from Hidalgo County Precinct #3.  (See attached correspondence from the subrecipient).
