Requesting authorization to deviate from the Hidalgo County Citizens Participation Plan as presented by waivers provided by HUD for the preparation of a Substantial Amendment for the Consolidation Plan 2008 Action Plan for the following applications:

BACKGROUND
The County of Hidalgo has an approved Citizen Participation Plan in which comment periods are established for citizens participation and comment periods. Several waivers have been granted for the above listed programs and UCP is requesting the authorization to deviate from the Citizen Participation Plan in order to meet specified deadlines.
