BACKGROUND
The County of Hidalgo was allocated via a direct allocation by the State of Texas a total of $5,000,000 to fund non-housing projects that were affected by Hurricane Dolly. These projects either failed to function as designed or were damaged by Hurricane Dolly. The Housing portion of the allocation consists of $2,000,000 for damages to homes caused by Hurricane Dolly.
