Authorization and Approval to accept the COPS Technology Program Grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS), in the amount of $75,000.00.
BACKGROUND
Approval to apply for the grant was authorized by Commissioners' Court on 06/22/09 (Item No. 18B).
The grant period is March 11, 2009 to March 10, 2012. The monies are to be used for the purchase of equipment. Our office will be submitting the grant budget at a later date.
No local cash match is required.
