Urban County Program is requesting approval of a Budget and Program Amendment for the City of La Joya Urban County Program Year 22 (2009).
BACKGROUND
The proposed amendment for City of La Joya will affect the existing work plans in UCP Year 22 (2009). A Public Hearing was held on October 12, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., and citizen participation requirements have been met. See attached detailed amendment.
The proposed budget and program amendment will increase funds and add to the Parks, Recreational Facilities work plan: Development of park at Military Road to include and walking trail, playscapes, sport fields, seating and recreational related equipment, materials and/or construction.
The proposed budget and program amendment will delete the Water/Sewer Improvements activity and transfer funds into the Recreational Facilities line item.
