The Urban County Program is requesting approval and award of contract to ASAGO Construction in the amount of $28,596.00 for the Water/Sewer Improvements project in the City of Weslaco, utilizing Year 19 (2006) funds.
BACKGROUND
City of Weslaco requested bids and the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department received and opened bids on November 10, 2009; for the installation of waterline and resurfacing of intersecting streets in the alley between Nebraska Street and Indiana Street. Cruz-Hogan Consultants, Inc. is the project engineer and recommends ASAGO Construction , as the lowest qualified bidder. (See attached bid tabulation and letter of recommendation)
