Authorization and approval to accept additional funding for the Local Border Security Program grant administered by the Texas Border Sheriff's Coalition in the amount of $90,000.00.
BACKGROUND
Our office will submit the appropriation for the $90,000.00 funds awarded at a later date.
The original amount of $575,000.00 was awarded for expenses relating to overtime, fringe benefits (excluding life insurance), and mileage in the enforcement of this grant. (Agenda Item No. 13A on 03/17/09.)
The adjusted grant award amount is $665,000.00.
