Requesting approval of a Budget & Program Amendment for City of San Juan to the existing work plan for Urban County Program Year 19 (2006) and Year 21 (2008).
BACKGROUND
The proposed amendment for City of San Juan will decrease street improvement funds and add an activity to the approved work plans. A Public Hearing was held on November 24, 2009 at 6:00 P.M., and citizen participation requirements have been met. See attached detailed amendment.
The proposed City of San Juan Year 19 (2006) Amendment will:
* add to the existing Water/Sewer Improvement workplan: a.)The installation of waterlines and fire hydrants to streets within the vicinity of Oblate Street, Antelope Street, Alameda Street and Athol Street, to include but not limited to the purchase of materials and related appurtenances. b) The installation of sewer lines and related appurtenances at Morelos Street (south to Business 83) and streets within the vicinity. c) The extension of an existing sewer line on Carroll Drive from Stewart Road to Cesar Chavez Road and streets in the general vicinity to include all related appurtenances.
The proposed City of San Juan Year 21 (2008) Amendment will:
* decrease the Street Improvement activity funds.
* create and fund a Water/Sewer Improvement activity for: a.)The installation of waterlines and fire hydrants to streets within the vicinity of Oblate Street, Antelope Street, Alameda Street and Athol Street, to include but not limited to the purchase of materials and related appurtenances. b) The installation of sewer lines and related appurtenances at Morelos Street (south to Business 83) and streets within the vicinity. c) The extension of an existing sewer line on Carroll Drive from Stewart Road to Cesar Chavez Road and streets in the general vicinity to include all related appurtenances.
