Urban County Program on behalf of Hidalgo County Precinct No. 3 is requesting approval to extend the Interlocal Agreement with City of Palmview for the overlay of streets in the Tierra Linda Subdivision to February 26, 2010. The original agreement expired December 30, 2009. Due to increment weather and holidays, the project has not been completed.
BACKGROUND
The Interlocal Agreement was approved in Hidalgo County Commissioners’ Court on November 24, 2009 with terms to complete the project on December 30, 2009. Scarce staff due to holidays and rain have hindered the progress of the project. The extension will allow for increment weather and unforeseen events.
