1. Discussion, consideration, and action on approval to extend termination date for the CJD Operation Linebacker Grant with the Office of the Governor (Criminal Justice Division)--New termination date is January 31, 2007.
2. Approval of intra-departmental transfer for grant fiscal year 2006--line item transfers.
BACKGROUND
Approval was granted to purchase equipment and supplies with unexpended amounts from personnel and other operating expense categories.
The grant funding of the employees' salary, longevity, supplemental pay, and fringe benefits will terminate on December 31, 2006. The officers will be transferring to the Sheriff's Office budget effective January 01, 2007.
Prior termination date was December 31, 2006.
Note: Pending carry-over of line items by the County Auditor's Office
