Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Mercedes is requesting authority to purchase Public Services (General) Equipment for the public library through Hidalgo County’s membership and participation with Buy Board, approved vendor Gaylord Bros., Inc. (contract #328-09) in the amount of $1,214.38 (quote attached hereto) to include fees and discounts as requested by the City of Mercedes for the Public Library.  City of Mercedes UCP Year 22 (2009) Public Services (General) funds will be utilized.

BACKGROUND

The library equipment (Study Desk) will be purchased to be placed at the public library reference area. Gaylord Bros., Inc is an approved vendor through the Buy Board, Contract #328-09.  Delivery is expected within 30 days from receipt of purchase order.
