Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Peñitas is requesting authority to purchase library equipment for the new library through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with Buy Board (Texas Association of School Boards) approved vendor Key Enterprises (contract #262-07) in the amount of $42,360.06 (quote attached hereto) to include fees and accessories.  City of Penitas UCP Year 22 (2009) Public Facilities Income funds will be utilized.

The library equipment will consist of four (4) 48” Round Tables, fifty (50) Adult chairs, three (3) 24” Children's Wooden Tables, sixteen (16) Children Library Chairs, one (1) Executive Conference Table, Fourteen (14) Executive Chairs, ten (10) 82” Bookshelves, five (5) Single-Sided 36” Bookshelves, one (1) 48” Magazine/newspaper Racks with three add-on units, two (2) T.V stands, one (1) 12X10 Round Carpet, four (4) Large Beanbags.  All the equipment will provide for education programs, current events activities and reading programs for residents of the City of Penitas.  Purchase includes warranties, customer assistance, delivery, co-op fees accessories.  Delivery is expected within 3 to 6 weeks.
