Discussion, consideration and action in connection with the redistribution of reallocated funds under Round 1 of the Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA) Disaster Recovery funding.
BACKGROUND
The approved method of distribution for Round 1 of the Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA) Disaster Recovery Funds states that any funds not applied for by communities within the region would revert back to the County in which the community is located. The State recently advised that the Cities of Granjeno, Progreso and Progreso Lakes did not submit applications totaling their allocation of $547,632.00.
