Approval of a Grant Partner Agreement with South Texas College.
BACKGROUND
South Texas College is applying for a grant to compose and/or update their emergency operations plan. A part of the application requires them to show that they have a working relationship with the County's Emergency Management Department. This partnership agreement indicates that we do have a working relationship and are available to assist them with their plan.
A similiar partner agreement was approved by Hidalgo County Commissioners Court in July of 2008 (AI-10116 CC 07/22/08). STC was not awarded the grant in 2008. They are applying again and therefore need an updated agreement.
