Acceptance and approval to modify and extend current Agreement for the provision of electric power between Hidalgo County and Reliant Energy reflecting:
a. Modification to a Blend and Extend indicative pricing with Reliant from 12.634 cents per kwh to 11.678 cents per kwh; and,
b. Extend current agreement from 5-31-13 to new expiration date of 2015.

Currently this expenditure is budgeted under fiscal year 2010, however there appears a net decrease may be realized inasmuch as cost per kwh is being reduced by nearly $.01 per kwh.No budgetary impact, would result in decrease in energy costs countywide.
