Urban County Program is requesting County Commissioners' Court to rescind action taken on June 15, 2010 for the following request:
Negotiate a professional service contract with the highest ranked architectural firm, Alcocer Garcia & Associates for the Peñitas Park & Recreational Facilities Improvements project at Peñitas Memorial Park.
BACKGROUND
On June 15th, 2010, Urban County Program submitted an agenda to negotiate a professional service contract with the highest ranked architectural firm for the 2008/2009 Parks & Recreational Facilities Improvements at Memorial Park.
On July 20th, 2010 Urban County Program submitted an agenda to amend the 2008/2009 Parks & Recreational Facilities project funds into a new Water/Sewer Improvements activity.
Although Commissioners' Court approved to begin negotiations with the highest ranked architectural firm, a contract with the highest ranked architectural firm was never drafted nor implemented. A copy of the June 15th and July 20th Commissioners' Court Agendas are attached for reference.
