a.  Elections Department:

1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 262, Section .024, (a) (7)-"an item that can be obtained from only one source";

2. Approval of a "Sole Source Declaration" with authority  for Hidalgo County (elected office, departments, agencies, programs through all applicable funding sources) to purchase QAS Pro 6.45 program with Experian QAS  (commencing and as required by the Elections Department) through requisition #182951 in the amount of $7,200.00-effective upon approval including the signing of required documents by County Judge or Court Member.

b.  Facilities Management:

Request by Mr. Richard Sunday to approve an amendment to PO#642928-Firestrol Protection Systems, Inc. (CC approved 7-13-10) to include the short term monitoring of the on-going Fire Alarm System Repair Project at the former Administration Bldg. (100 E. Cano-Edinburg, Tx) while entire project is completed at no additional cost.
