Requesting approval for a six (6) month extension to the FY 08 Contract between the Urban County Program and South Texas Economic Development Corporation, Inc. (STEDC)
BACKGROUND
The UCP entered into contract with STEDC on September 30, 2008 in the amount of $187,500. The purpose of this contract was to build five (5) single-family homes. Currently, STEDC has completed construction of all units under this contract. This extension will allow STEDC to market and sell these units to qualified families. The UCP recommends approval of this extension in order to allow for compliance of the contract terms.
