Urban County Program for the City of San Juan is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a Construction Contract with Rigney Construction & Development LLC. for the Public Facilities Improvements – Construction of a Public Library in the City of San Juan in the amount of $1,944,750.00 utilizing UCP Year 20 (2007), Year 22 (2009) and Year 23 (2010) Urban County Public Facilities Improvements line item.
BACKGROUND
The bid opening was held November 3, 2010 and the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Rigney Construction & Development LLC. The project involves construction of a new library to include a parking lot, curb and gutter, drainage, sidewalks, lighting, and all related appurtenances in the City of San Juan.
