Requesting authorization to extend fiscal year agreement with American Red Cross -ESG Program YR 22- (2009) until March 31, 2011. Their agreement will terminate on Dec. 31, 2010.
BACKGROUND
UCP is requesting authorization to amend the agreement between the American Red Cross and the Hidalgo County ESG Program-YR 22 (2009) until March 31, 2011. The American Red Cross has requested an extension of the agreement until March 31, 2011 to be able to expend all the funds for YR 22 (2009). We recommend approval. The two year contract with HUD for YR 22 ends on June 30, 2011.
The grant awarded to the American Red Cross in the amount of $60,000.00 will not change.
