Requesting authorization to extend fiscal year agreement with The Salvation Army-ESG Program YR 22 - (2009) until March 31, 2011. Their agreement will terminate on Dec. 31, 2010.
BACKGROUND
UCP is requesting authorization to amend the agreement between The Salvation Army and the Hidalgo County ESG Program-YR 22 (2009) until March 31, 2011. The Salvation Army has requested an extension of the agreement until March 31, 2011 to be able to expend all the funds for YR 22 (2009). We recommend approval. The two year contract with HUD for YR 22 ends on June 30, 2011.
The grant awarded to The Salvation Army in the amount of $112,078.00 will not change.
