Public Hearing regarding the proposed substantial amendment 2010 Hidalgo County Urban County Program One Year Action Plan to include round three of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP3) funding.
BACKGROUND
The NSP3 substantial amendment plan for Year 2010 is based on a budget of $1,716,924. The allocation is as follows:
Planning and General Administration $ 171,692
Purchase/Rehabilitation/Re-sell $ 429,232 (25% for below 50% AMI)
Purchase/Rehabilitation/Re-sell $1,116,000 (below 120% AMI)
Total $1,716,924
A draft copy of the NSP substantial amendment was made available for review for a fifteen (15) - day comment period beginning on February 4, 2011 and ending on February 21, 2011. The NSP substantial amendment was also posted on the Hidalgo County website in both English and Spanish for public viewing. Comments received will be noted in the final work plan submitted to HUD.
