Requesting authorization for Health & Human Services Dept. employee to travel out of state to attend a grant writing training sponsored by the University of Texas - Pan American. All expenses related to this training will be paid for by UTPA. There is no cost to the Health Dept. employee or the County.
BACKGROUND
The grant writing training is provided in collaboration with UTPA & the Center for Hispanic Resources in Rehabilitation. Training will benefit the Health & Human Services Dept. and County in providing skills & knowledge that will assist in producing enhanced quality grant applications that will increase the likelihood of future grant awards.
