a.  Acceptance and approval of the Statements of Qualifications received (attached herein) in response to Hidalgo County's Request for Qualifications for establishment of a pre-qualified "POOL" of Construction Management Services proviers for engagement through the establishment statutory and local protocol (i.e.-nomination by user dept., ranking by cc, negotiation of an agreement, etc.) on an "As Needed Basis" per project by all County Departments and/or applicable Programs requiring said services set forth in the RFQ packet for: Hidalgo County "Construction Management Services". (RFQ No.: 2011-056-03-09-MSS with term of this pool: March 15, 2011 (acceptance date) thru February 8, 2012 so as to coincide with the expiration of all other Hidalgo County professional services pools);

b.  Pursuant to County's protocol:
     the nomination of at least three (3) firms from the approved pool above:
     1. ________________________________;

     2. ________________________________;

     3. ________________________________;  OR, as an alternative 

c.  Consideration of ALL firms of the newly approved pool above, for evaluation, grading and scoring in connection with a Construction Manager to serve as "Owner's Designated Representative" in connection with the Design and Construction of an Hidalgo County Sub-Station in the Precinct #1 area;

d.  Selection/Assignment/Designation of the Committee to Evaluate, Score and Grade the nominated firms as Construction Manager to serve as Owner's Designated Representative in the design and construction of an Hidalgo County Sub-Station in the Precint #1 area.

BACKGROUND

This is a Countywide project and funding would need to be available and budgeted by user department. Pool of Construction Management Services will include all funding sources (ie. R&B, CIP, CAP General Fund, all grants, etc.) from all County Departments, programs and entities.
