Requesting approval to enter into contract with the National Development Council (NDC) for the purpose of obtaining Direct Technical Assistance for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) at no cost to the County.
BACKGROUND
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) selected the NDC to assist NSP recipients with Direct Technical Assistance in implementing their programs. The NDC, in conjunction with HUD, has selected the UCP to receive direct technical assistance due to the undertaking of a land bank activity. On March 24, 2011 the Urban County Program received a request to enter into a contract for Direct Technical Assistance that will be provided by the NDC as authorized by HUD.
