The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated Engineering Service contract with  S & B Infrastructure, Ltd. in the amount of $28,900.00 utilizing Years 20 & 22 (2007 & 2009) funds for a Street Improvements Project for the City of Alamo and Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1.

BACKGROUND

The City of Alamo requested authorization to negotiate a Professional Engineering service contract with S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. for Street Improvements project in the City of Alamo.  A best and final offer was submitted in the amount of $28,900.00.  The improvements will allow for professional engineering services related to the purchase and installation of solar lights on Duranta Avenue (between Tower & Alamo Road) and Main street (between 9th & 7th Street).  See attached best and final offer & scope of services.
