Approval to award a contract to Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Incorporated for the purchase of fire protective equipment which includes jackets, trousers, helmets, hoods, gloves and boots for the City of Alton Fire Department using Urban County Program Year 19 (2006) Fire Station / Equipment funds in the amount of $9,249.00 Dollars.

BACKGROUND

The approval of a contract with Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Incorporated for the purchase of bunker gear using City of Alton UCP fire station/equipment funds.  Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. was the low quote with an amount of $9,249.00.  Attached is the bid tabulation sheet, city council minutes and letter of recommendation from the City of Alton (See attached).
