Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) Interlocal Agreement with the City of Edinburg and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment will increase funds from the original contract amount of $75,000 to $152,500.
BACKGROUND
This grant was approved by a Substantial Amendment to the 2009 Action Plan under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“Recovery Act”). The Urban County Program is requesting authorization to amend the existing Interlocal Agreement with City of Edinburg under the HPRP Program. The allocation amount would change from $75,000 to $152,500. These funds came from the recaptured funding from other HPRP subrecipients that were not meeting their threshold.
