BACKGROUND
Acceptance of the FY2010 Operation Stonegarden grant was granted by Commissioners' Court on
08/09/11 (AI-27841). The amount mentioned as awarded to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office was
$303,583.83. The correct amount is $303,584.27.
On 08/09/11, the amount of $291,112.91 was budgeted due to conditional approval of the grant. This was due to exceeding the 50% limit in personnel costs (Personnel Costs Cap) on the grant application.
Our office received authorization and approval from the FEMA Administrator waiving the Personnel
Costs Cap and thus, are budgeting the remaining award amount of $12,471.36.
