BACKGROUND
After review of Official Bond for Constable Celestino Avila Jr., County Auditor Ray Eufracio has asked that revisions be made to the bond. County Auditor has asked that bond be properly executed, filed with County Clerk, approved by Commissioner's Court and forwarded a copy to his office.
Revisions requested:
1. Official Bond be made payable to Governor and the Governor's successors in office.
2. Approval of bond by commissioner's court.
3. Amount of bond set forth by commissioners court.
Revisions Made:
1. Corrected September 2011
2. & 3. Constable Avila's bond was originally approved on 12-30-2008 Under agenda Item #13086. No questions or concerns were voiced at the time about the amount of the bond. Bond was accepted and approved by commissioner's court along with the bonds of the other elected officials on the agenda item.
