Urban County Program on behalf of the City of San Juan is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Garco Industries for the Water/Sewer Improvements project in the amount of $127,222.00, utilizing funds from UCP Year 23 (2010), Urban County Water/Sewer Improvements line item.

The bid opening was held May 9, 2012 and the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Garco Industries. The project involves water/sewer improvements on Standard Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Nebraska and 8th through 11th in San Juan, Texas. Please see attached recommendation by the project engineer, city’s recommendation letter and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project’s engineering firm is CRUZ-HOGAN Consultants, Inc.
