1. The Urban County Program is requesting a Public Hearing regarding a Substantial Amendment to the FY 2011 Action Plan for the Emergency Solutions Grant Program on additional funding of $208,293.00.
2. Approval of a substantial amendment to the FY 2011 Emergency Solutions Grant Program increasing the initial grant amount of $370,298 to $578,591, an increase of $208,293 and authorization of submittal to the Department of Housing & Urban Development (H.U.D.).

 In order to receive the additional funding of $208,293.00 under the Emergency Solutions Grant Program, the Urban County Program must submit a substantial amendment to the FY 2011 Action Plan. The Urban County Program proposes to utilize the additional funding to fund the Rapid Re-Housing and Homeless Prevention activities under the Emergency Solutions Grant Program. Funding will be used to assist recipients to regain stability in permanent housing. The eligible activities will be Data Collections (HMIS), Homeless Prevention for Housing Relocation & Stabilization Financial Services and Tenant Based Rental Assistance, Rapid Re-housing for Housing Relocation & Stabilization Financial Services and Tenant Based Rental Assistance and Administration.


The Urban County Program has completed the requirements for this application and recommends approval. The Substantial Amendment Application Form 424 is attached.
