a.  Acceptance and approval of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between County Of Hidalgo and Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District for the provision of assisting the School District in constructing two walking trails as identified under the following line item;

b.  Acceptance and approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Project: provision of  assistance by Hidalgo County to the Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District for the construction of two walking trails on the District campuses identified as Ybarra Middle School and Truan Middle School pursuant to the approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement as stated above.

BACKGROUND

The "Ybarra Middle School" is located at 619 North Mile 17, Edcouch, Texas and the "Truan Middle School" is located at Mile 17 North, Elsa, Texas.

Interlocal Agreement has been reviewed and approved by Legal Counsel.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Pct. 1 has received from Edcouch-Elsa School District a check in the estimated amount of $66,000.00 to be deposited into an escrow account. Any excess expenditures for this project will be billed by Pct. 1 to the ISD. Certification and appropriation of monies receipted will be presented to CC for approval at a later date.


Escrow acct # is 2-1200-223-00-121-054-0-000 "EEISD Walking Trail-Deferred Revenues".
