The City of La Villa and Urban County Program are requesting authorization to cancel an existing contract with Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $8,041.00 for the 2011 Water/Sewer Improvements project which consisted of various upgrades to the water treatment plant. Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. representative has asked for termination of their contract, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. completed and was paid 75% of the professional service contract, which included the preliminary and design phases. The plans and specifications produced will be incorporated into the construction portion of the La Villa Water Treatment plant project. A copy of the letter from Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. agreeing to a partial contract cancelation is included.
