1. Hold a Public Hearing to consider public comments for Hidalgo County Precinct No. 2’s proposed budget and program amendment for Fiscal Years 23, 24 & 25 (2010, 2011 & 2012) original work plans. The proposed amendment will delete the Parks, Recreational Facilities projects and allocate funds in to the Street Improvement line item for the purchase and installation of solar lights. The amendment will also change the project description for the Street Improvements work plan.

2. A Public Hearing was held on September 25, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. and citizen participation requirements have been met. The proposed budget and program amendment for, Hidalgo County Precinct No. 2 for Fiscal Years 23, 24 & 25 (2010, 2011 & 2012) will:
FY 23 (2010)
Delete the Parks, Recreational Facilities line item by $65,433.32 and allocate funding to the Street Improvements line item for the purchase and installation of solar lights. The amendment will delete the following streets from its work plan: Aldamas I, Aldamas II, El Charro #2, Hall Acres/El Gato Road Project (Between Alamo & Tower Roads), Mesquite Acres, McColl Estates, Morningside South Outfall Project, Morning Sun, Pentecostal, Rancho Escondido, South McColl Road, North Tower Road Project (between Minnesota and Owassa Roads), Southside Village, and Val Bar Estates. Remaining streets: South Tower Road and South Tower Estates.
FY 24 (2011):
Delete the Parks, Recreational Facilities line item by $61,657.65 and allocate funding to the Street Improvements line item for the purchase and installation of solar lights. The amendment will delete the following streets from its work plan: Hall Acres/El Gato Road Project (Between Alamo & Tower Roads), Mesquite Acres, McColl Estates, Morningside South Subdivision, Morningside South Outfall Project, Morning Sun, Pentecostal, Rancho Escondido, South McColl Road, North Tower Road Project (between Minnesota and Owassa Roads), Southside Village, and Val Bar Estates. Remaining streets: South Tower Road and South Tower Estates.
FY 25 (2012):
Delete the Parks, Recreational Facilities line item by $50,000.00 and allocate funding to the Street Improvements line item for the purchase and installation of solar lights. The amendment will delete the following streets from its work plan: Rodriguez Street (From Minnesota Road North to Pueblo Street), Gearhart Drive (From El Dora Road South to end of street or up to cull de sac); Sunset Drive (From North Raul Longoria Road East to end of street (San Juan); Minnesota Road (from Veterans Road only up to the main drain ditch) and will add South Tower Road, El Charro No. 2 and Little Mexico Subdivision. Remaining streets: South Tower Estates.
