BACKGROUND
The State reimburses, on a rate calculated monthly by the State, to the County for expenses on Title IV-E cases.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
(2-1100-334-00-360-001-0-000 & 2-1100-334-00-080-001-0-000)The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV E County Child Welfare Services. However,
the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services will reimburse the county for part of the
expenses when the county handles Title IV E cases. Actual reimbursement will be based on Eligible
Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which expenses are incurred. The
reimbursement is then receipted in a General Fund Revenue account (Acct
#2-1100-334-00-360-001-0-000).
