Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 1 is requesting approval of Amendment No. 1 to the existing contract agreement for professional engineering services with TEDSI Infrastructure, Inc. Amendment will modify the plans and specifications to enable Precinct No. 1 to construct project with in-house forces and equipment, fee increased by $6,000.00 for the Street Improvements – Saenz Street project for FY 22 (2009).
BACKGROUND
In order to lower the cost of the project, Precinct No. 1 determined to handle the construction of the project with in house forces and with county equipment. (See attached supportive documentation.)
Original Contract: $24,000.00
Amendment No. 1: $ 6,000.00
New contract amount: $30,000.00
Funds Available: $ 1,543.10 YR 19 (2006) Precinct No. 1 – Street Improvements
$ 16,354.26 YR 20 (2007) Precinct No. 1 – Street Improvements
Total: $ 17,897.36
