BACKGROUND
Authorization to accept the FY2012 SCAAP grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), was approved by Commisssioners' Court on 10/30/12 (AI-34764). Certification of Revenues by County Auditor was completed as well on 10/30/12 (AI-34764).
Awarded funds are to be used for correctional purposes only. The budget includes the purchase of vehicles.

The amount of $43,101.00 was direct deposited in Special Revenues Funds on 11/19/12. (Hidalgo County Treasurer's Receipt No. 161025 dated 12/6/12).
