Urban County Program is requesting approval of a program amendment for the City of La Joya, Urban County Program Year 25 (2012). The amendment will delete various street locations and add additional street locations to the work plan.

The proposed amendment for the City of La Joya will affect the existing work plan in Year 25 (2012). A Public Hearing was held on March 12th, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. and citizen participation requirements have been met. Please see attached detailed amendment. The proposed program amendment will not alter the project description to install street lights within the city limits of La Joya and will not affect the original budget amount of $89,900.00. The following is the proposed program amendment for your consideration:

Streets to remain in work plan:
4th Street, 5th Street, 11th Street, Alaniz Street, and Military Road (1,000 feet west of Garza)

Streets to be deleted from work plan:
11 ½ Street, Alex Street, Ash Street, Birch Street, Cedar Street, Diamond Street, Elizabeth Street, Gonzalez, Peralez-Martinez, and Ruby Street

Streets to be added to work plan:
1st Street, 2nd Street, 3rd Street, 6th Street, 7th Street, 8th Street, 9th Street, 10th Street, King, Reyna-Farias, and Garza
