Requesting approval of a program amendment for Hidalgo County Urban County Program for the City of Palmview, the proposed program amendment is for the Fiscal Year 25 (2012) work plan. The Program Amendment will include an additional street improvements project to allow for the completion of the Bentsen Palm Drive Bridge Project. The existing street improvement project will also be completed.

A Public Hearing was held on November 5, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at the Palmview City Hall and citizen participation requirements have been met. The city of Palmview proposed that the Bentsen Palm Drive Bridge Project be added to the existing workplan for fiscal year 25 (2012) to allow for additional funds in the amount of $150,000.00 be utilized for the completion of the project’s construction phase.
