Requesting approval of a program amendment for Hidalgo County Urban County Program for the City of Donna, the proposed program amendment is for the Fiscal Year 21 (2008) work plan. The Program Amendment will create a new street improvements project to allow for the construction of Victoria Road (from Business 83 to Sites Road), within the City of Donna boundaries.
BACKGROUND
A Public Hearing was held on September 19, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at the Donna City Hall and citizen participation requirements have been met. The city then held meeting on December 3, 2013 to approve the amended Work Plan. The city of Donna proposed that the Victoria Street project be added to the existing street improvements work plan for fiscal year 21 (2008). These funds will be utilized in conjunction with Precinct No. 1 who will be the lead for the construction project. (See attached copy of Public Hearing Notice and Regular Meeting city minutes).
