A. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements, Texas Local Gov. Code, 262.024(a)(7)(A)(D)-'an item that can be otained from only one source', items for which competition is precluded because of the existence of patents, copyrights, secret processess, or monopolies', 'captive replacement parts or components for equipment';
B. Acceptance and approval of a "Sole Source Declaration" with Taser International/Taser Brand Product of Texas for the purchase of products and/or services commencing with Hidalgo County Fire Marshal's Office through requisition #251213 for the amount of $7,299.69 for the purchase of Taser Equipment and or Components as requested with the sole declaration to remain in effect unless revoked by Hidalgo County Commissioners Court.
